Early Killzone 2 Reviews

killzone 2 edi choiceMany people have already seen all the great Killzone 2 reviews. Many have wondered why there are reviews for the game already and the reason is that the game was finished around a month ago. So of course they released it out to Game Review sites to get reviews out early. This is good for the game mainly because people will know the game is good before they go out on the 27th to get it. There has been so much positivity surrounding this game since the beta. The hype for this game is extremely high, and is probably on every PS3 owners wish list. IGN gave Killzone 2 a 9.4 and discribed the Killzone 2’s multiplayer as very “deep” and “Awesome.” G4TV rated the game 5 out of 5. The game has already won Editor Choice Awards from IGN.com, GameSpy, GamePro, GameZone, Hexus Gaming, and Gaming Nexus. 1UP.com gave it an A, GamesRadar.com gave it a 9/10, GameTrailers.com gave it a 9.2/10 and so on. This game has been reviewed by game review sites from around the world and has been praised all around.

IGN Rating: 9.4/10 with Editor’s Choice Award:

“The single-player experience is a truly enjoyable campaign across the Helghast home world that will test your skills, particularly on the higher difficulty levels, and the game simply looks phenomenal for a console shooter. But perhaps the strongest segment of the game is the extremely deep multiplayer, which gives seven basic classes with which you can create your own customized super-soldier after performing your class-specific duties.”

Wired.com Rating: 9/10

“While Killzone 2 does walk on mostly well-trodden ground, it does so with a keen attention to style and detail, pushing beyond the gray-and-red color schemes that define its competition while encouraging gamers to put a little bit of thought behind every bullet they hurl.”

GamesRadar.com Rating: 9/10

“In the four years that we’ve known about it, Killzone 2 has been all but defined by one incident, so let’s get this out of the way right off the bat: yes, Killzone 2 lives up to the infamous ‘target footage’ clip that roused legions of skeptics at the 2005 Electronic Entertainment Expo. It even surpasses it, although if you’ve been following the game over the last few months, you probably know that already.”

And there are many more. You can find them here.

So yea an observation you can take out of all this is that game review sites around the world are really liking Killzone 2. Killzone 2 releases February 27th, 2009, are you going to be getting Killzone 2? My brother and I have already pre-ordered our copies.
