The wait is almost officially over! Today Sony announced on the PlayStation Blog that finally the PlayStation Home Public Beta is releasing to every PlayStation 3 owner tomorrow! I have actually secretly been in the PlayStation Home Closed Beta for about 15 days, and I have to say it’s going to be great. I actually did not get to see all the features of PlayStation Home but tomorrow all the features will be available to everyone. PlayStation Home is a great experience where you can meet other gamers, hang out with friends, or challenge others to a game of pool, bowling, and more. The video above was done by me on the first day I got into the PlayStation Home Closed Beta.

Many companies have already joined the PlayStation Home eperience like Activision, Disney, Eidos, Electronic Arts, Lucas Arts, THQ and UBISOFT as well as Sony Pictures, Paramount, Red Bull, Ligne Roset, and Diesel. With all these partners on the PlayStation Home already just imagine in the near future. Companies like Diesel have their own clothing store in the Mall @ Playstation Home where you can purchase (some free & some not) clothing for your PlayStation Home Avatar. Red Bull has actually done something very cool with PlayStation home and I’m going to let the video below explain for me.

So as you can see companies giving their support to PlayStation Home really does make a huge difference. Other companies like game developers will have their own themed rooms where players can meet and even launch games right from PlayStation Home. Once the game match is finished, it then returns everyone back to PlayStation Home exactly where they were before.

There are just so many great things in PlayStation Home to talk about. You have the Bowling Alley were you can go bowling, play some pool, or even play some cool arcade games. Then at the mall you will find people running around finding new items, furniture for their home(s), finding new homes, playing some chess, and much more. In the central plaza you will find many people in groups chatting it up, or having a dance party next to the dance floor. Then you have the Theater where you can watch game trailers, and many other videos with strangers or your friends. There is just so much to do in PlayStation Home, and it really is just a great place to meet up with your friends, or just meet fellow PlayStation Gamers.

Now the last thing I’d like to talk about is just how beautiful the graphics are in PlayStation Home. Sony really out-did themselves with this one making beautiful huge environments for all of us to enjoy for free. There is even a physics system, where if you drop a TV on the stairs it will tumble all the way down. PlayStation Home really lookes like it will be a hit with all the PlayStation 3 owners. I know from personal experience how great PlayStation Home is!
