Countdown to Paper Trail

T.I.’s new album Paper Trail is almost here set to release September 30th. Many have already started pre-ordering the album and buying his hit singles. Each of his singles (Whatever You Like, No Matter What, and What’s Up, What’s Happenin’) from Paper Trail have hit the #1 spot on iTunes, the #1 online music store, with his most recent single Whatever You Like still sitting in the #3 spot. And now Tip and Jay-Z’s new collaboration single Swagga Like Us is just starting to get popular sitting at the 13th (and 3rd in Hip-hop/rap) spot on iTunes. T.I. has been busy all year working on his new album, his new clothing line, and his record label. Now with Paper Trail only a week away he’s be extremely busy try to get his music videos recorded and ready to go. He has been giving sneak peaks to his new clothing line Akoo (A King of Oneself) by only wearing Akoo especially in his music videos. On top of all that Tip goes around the country with his new Respect My Vote campaign to try to get people to register to vote. And he has just started working on a movie featuring Chris Brown called Bone Deep. Here’s what T.I had to say about the movie in an interview with AllHipHop.com:

AllHipHop.com: What kind of acting projects do you have coming up?

T.I: Bone Deep is the film that I’ll be starting on in September and it’s starring Idris Elba, Matt Dillon, Chris Brown and myself. It’s an action drama movie, it’s a flick about some young, cool, fly well dressed, good looking, intelligent, articulate…bank robbers. You know, not just your shoot’em up bang bang, bust’em in the bank Set It Off bank robbers, I’m talking inside man, Ocean’s 11 heat type bank robbers. I’m one of the producers also. I’m looking forward to that.

You have to wonder how T.I. gets any sleep. Tip says, “Ahh not much. I don’t know man, the Lord promised me I would get enough sleep when I die, and He promised me all the sleep I want when I die.” in response to how much sleep he gets. His new album is going to be hot and will probably feature some songs that are a little more deeper, so we’ll see how it goes. I already have my copy saved, in-fact I was one of the first 250 people to pre-order. Do you have plans to pre-order, go the first day, or wait it out? Let me know in the comments!
