Many people have already seen all the great Killzone 2 reviews. Many have wondered why there are reviews for the game already and the reason is that the game was finished around a month ago. So of course they released it out to Game Review sites to get reviews out early. This is good for the game mainly because people will know the game is good before they go out on the 27th to get it. There has been so much positivity surrounding this game since the beta. The hype for this game is extremely high, and is probably on every PS3 owners wish list. IGN gave Killzone 2 a 9.4 and discribed the Killzone 2’s multiplayer as very “deep” and “Awesome.” G4TV rated the game 5 out of 5. The game has already won Editor Choice Awards from IGN.com, GameSpy, GamePro, GameZone, Hexus Gaming, and Gaming Nexus. 1UP.com gave it an A, GamesRadar.com gave it a 9/10, GameTrailers.com gave it a 9.2/10 and so on. This game has been reviewed by game review sites from around the world and has been praised all around.

Socom is done.
I can remember the days during the summer when all I could think about was Socom. I was really excited for this game because Call of Duty 4 was getting annoying. I was ready for a game that required real tacticle stretegy and a super realistic game. The Socom series has always delivered before, generating a large dedicated community that just kept growing. Then the PS3 came out and nobody was sure of Socom’s future. Then news comes out about Socom: Confrontation. Their wasn’t much hype for this game except in the large Socom Community. There was just one thing that made us unsure of whether Socom was going to continue to be the great game that it was. That one thing was Slant 6. Slant 6 is a fairly new developer that nobody really knew much about except that they developed the Socom for the PSP. Naturally there were many doubts about this new developer taking over the famous Socom series. Screenshots and short gameplay videos made the game look great, until the Public beta started.

The iPhone Killer
Way back when, there was a new device that could help organize your life. The little device would take your data off your computer to take with you wherever you go. That device was called a PDA. The funny this is that it was impossible to ever hear anyone call it a PDA. The reason was because it was made by a company named Palm and it was called the Pilot. So naturally people started calling this handy little device a Palm Pilot. Every since then Palm has rulled the PDA category. There was one problem though. More portable gadgets were coming out everyday. Everyone would have to carry their cell phone, mp3 player, and their PDA. It was really inconvenient having to carry around so many different devices. So later on Smart Phones started to pop up. These devices were all-in-one devices and allowed you to conveniently carry all your data, music, and phone in one device. For awhile Palm started to lose there hold on the market, and the Blackberry started to rule. Next there was the all-mighty iPhone which changed the way we thought about phones. The iPhone really introduced a whole new meaning to “smart phone.” Instantly every cell phone company jumped on the bandwagon and tried to make their iPhone killer. Arguably to this date no company has been able to match the experience you get from an iPhone. Well wait, I take that back. Finally an old competitor has come back strong ready to give the world the iPhone killer. You would think that it would be Blackberry’s Storm, but sorry the Storm wasn’t so strong. Believe it or not, Palm is coming back and strong. They have a new device that they say has “newness” and boy does this phone really bring in some newness. The phone is called the Palm Pre.

What’s in your Blu-Ray Collection?
Blu-ray is getting more and more popular everyday, mainly because of the great picture quality you get from them. Blu-ray’s are just the next best thing, they provide better sound quality, full HD video, and larger storage space. A dual-layer Blu-ray holds up to 50GB which is a little more than 5 times the amount a DVD can hold. With Blu-ray coming out on top against the HD-DVD last year and all of the major studios joining the Blu-ray bandwagon, the word is starting to get out. As Blu-rays, and Blu-ray players get cheaper more people are starting to join. So this year with Batman: The Dark Knight selling 600,000 Blu-rays on the first day, and 1.7 million within the first week, it’s really starting to look like Blu-rays are getting much more popular. Many people have already gone Blu in 2008, and even some before. Engadget HD already asked , so now my question for you is, “If you have already gone Blu, what’s in your Blu-ray Collection?”

Killzone 2 Box Art Changed
Awhile back on Killzone.com Guerilla revealed the box art for Killzone 2. Well it looks like they decided to change it to the one pictured above. I’d say that this one is actually a little better. But it looks like this is truely going to be the offcial box art this time because they posted it on the . Previously they had posted the first box art design only on their site. Oh and if you go to now you will find special holiday Killzone 2 desktop backgrounds for your computer. This game seems to be the most hyped game for the PlayStation 3. I’ve even seen some Xbox blogs noting that Killzone 2 is expected to be just amazing. It’s too bad I’ll be back in school when this game comes out, but that won’t stop me. So what do you think, do you like this box art better than the previous one?

The Plantronics Versa
The Plantronics Versa… wow.. this gadget really is a thing of beauty. I would possibly pay an unlimited amount of money for these. These are beautiful tiny wireless bluetooth earbuds. Now, only if they were real. If you have been trying to get wireless stereo earphones you have probably noticed that the only ones out now are HUGE. a company known for their bluetooth headsets and wired headsets have come up with this concept above. It is called the Plantronics Versa. This device would really blow away competition and change the way we listen to our iPods (or any other mp3 player you may happen to have) forever. Now you’re probably wondering why I am writing about something that doesn’t exist. Well actually quoted Plantronics saying that this concept is, “a year or two out from being ready to launch,” so hopefully their right and we’ll see these on store shelves very soon. If these were to release tomorrow (or at anytime) I would definitely go to the store now and buy them (maybe steal them if I were broke.) So what do you think about these? Project 4 Awesome! charity: water
This post is going to be a lot different from the normal posts here on Ham Express, but there is good reason. The from started the . Hank and John Green both started this project together to promote charity. Thousands of YouTubers, including myself, will be posting their own talking about a charity of their choice. Hank and John will actually donate $1000 to the charity of the best Project 4 Awesome video. This project is just so…well… uh… AWESOME!

Street Fighter IV Gets Release Date!
Finally the most anticipated fighting game gets an official release date! Today the made a great find revealing that the street fighting will start on February 17th. Yep that’s right, your going to be able to finally get your hands on this great game. seems to be having a special, where if you pre-order Street Fighter IV they will include a free exclusive Ryu headband. Other stores may be having their own offers also, so check around. So are you as excited as I am? And which version will you be getting, Regular Edition or Limited Edition?
